--- Pray for Students to Revive Brotherly Love.
The National Association of Polytechnic Students under the leadership of the President-Elect Rotr. Comr. Asiegbu Kingsley Chinonso has called for National peace while felicitating with the Christians in the nation on the occasion of the Christmas Celebration.
The President who made the call in a Christmas felicitation message urged all Nigerian Students to utilize the opportunity of another Christmas celebration to rededicate themselves and remain steadfast in prayers, which have an immense impact on the peace, security, unity, and stability of our dear nation.
According to Him "Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ and this period should remind us of the need to uphold the virtues of love, selflessness, and tolerance. I call on all Nigerians to reflect on the lessons of the season, which presents an opportunity to love and share".
"Let us remember our fellow students, the men and women of our armed forces, some of whom have paid the supreme sacrifice this year fighting to protect us from attacks, banditry, kidnapping, and other threats that are against our national security".
The NAPS President-Elect equally canvassed utmost vigilance by Polytechnic Students as they go about the festivities of the season while observing all the co.vid-19 preventive protocols, especially avoiding crowded spaces during the celebrations.
While wishing Nigerians a joyous Christmas celebration, Rotr. Comr. Kingsley Asiegbu stressed the need to stay safe and rededicate ourselves to the virtues of faith in God throughout the season.
In his words "We must love one another and make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily living".
