Federal polytechnic, Oko Students Union Government Election, held on 15/02/2020 as NANS Delegate Observed
And it was a moment of jubilation, Amongst the students, as their candidates emerge the winners, during the 2019/2020, students union General election.
The election, which took place at two Accredited, polling units of the polytechnic. The electoral process, which started as at 9am from the center one and two, convocation arena, and polytechnic main field respective.
The security outfit, were fully in their duty to ensure peacefully co-existence.
The NANS Delegates, led by Comr Okorie, Santos Ikechukwu. A.k. a Aluta wowosky, and his entourage comr. ikegbu, Chibuzor. Aluta 2 Good and comr. peter, Onyenweife. NANs JCC chairman. as the were welcome, by the Incumbent Students union President, Giant comr. Onuorah, Charsle. F and the chief security officer of the polytechnic. Abdulahar Kakai.
The rector of the polytechnic, Engr Dr uloma francisica Nwafulugo. arrived the Election venue as at 1:34, as she move round the polytechnic polling center, with her entourage along with the NANS Delegates.
It was indeed a moment of joy, as the election ended in a peaceful atmosphere. the election results, which was announced by the Director, Students Affairs.
As Comr Eriobu Clinton emerge unopposed as the provost,
wogo kelvin chizaram emerge the Director of transport 2 with 1093 votes.
Comr. Nwankwo, obinna Francis. emerge Director transport 1, with 1070 votes.
Comr. Asadu, success Chibuike. emerge Director of Social unopposed.
Comr. Onyedika, Chukwuma. emerge Director of welfare, with 964 votes.
Comr. Agbazue, Glory Nneoma. emerge Treasurer, with 924 votes.
Comr. Cyprian, Nwankwo chike. emerge financial Secretary, unopposed.
Comr. lazuraus chibuike. emerge unopposed.
Comr. Obinna, peter emerge Assistant Secretary, with 577 votes.
Comr. Ekwuozor, Paul Ikechukwu. emerge Secretary General unopposed.
Comr. Okafor, Cynthia chioma. emerge the Vice president, with 959 votes.
And Giant, comr. Asiegbu Kingsely Chinonso. emerge the President, with 1050 votes.
The rector, addressed the students and appreciated them, for their coordination during the electoral process, and also appreciate the security outfit, for maintaining peaceful atmosphere. Congratulating, the Newly Elected Executives of the Students Union.
The president Elect, in his speech, while addressing the students appreciated God almighty for his grace and thank the students for their support, and the management for making it possible.
