CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ZIKS FLAT AND SCIENCE PARK .

The wait is finally over, as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Professor Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, as part of his continued effort to renovate the School hostels, flagged-off the construction of a new Ultra-Modern hostel complex on a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) Model. The hostel complex which will replace the old dilapidated Ziks Flat, promises to be a new model of hostel accommodation in the country. Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor stressed the need to upgrade the housing condition of the students, pointing out that learning cannot be effective in the absence of a conducive environment. He also led members of the Press to the construction site of the first Science Park and Infrastructure Hub in West Africa, which on completion will reaffirm the school position as the number one University with an industrial park in the country.

The New Ultra modern Bakery will be sighted in a land adjacent to the University Secondary School. 

At the end of the Foundation laying ceremony, the Director of Vocational technical Education Training in the Campus thanked the Out going Vice Chancellor for his Continued Support.
