Great Tragedy as not less than 3 people lost their life today in Oko, Anambra State.

Fed. Poly. Oko. And the Polytechnic community at large were put into mournng as not less than three people lost their life.

"It was a black Monday for us at Federal Poly, Oko this morning as we lost a HND final student, coming to school to take her examination which has almost come to an end.

In the same accident where a reckless tipper driver was overspeeding and was dangerously attempting to overtake another topper so as to be the first to load sand at Oko sand depot, we also lost the famous Mama Emma, a woman that sells food to us, who has her shop close to the Poly Bookshop.

Mama Emma was so generous to a fault. She specialized in ' Rice Ofe Akwu'. Whether you have money or not, she must serve you food, if you don't have money to pay, she will ask you, "Do you want to carry it over? She will smile and you will go. She was very jovial. I saw her last on Thursday last week and we exchanged jokes".

Same incident happened last year where one was crush to death buy a tipper.

Donnie Saico Media is pleading that something urgent need to be done because this is putting the students at risk.
